My clematis Rebecca has a bud on it that is just opening! What a lovely sight to come home to when everything else is looking a bit sorry for itself.

Lucky you Jasmine, there really is a clematis for all seasons. My primula are blooming away here these past couple of weeks. I was gardening for my neighbour this morning and I see the nepetia six hills giant which I gave her has loads of new shoots forming at the bottom. Lovely smell when I was cutting it back for her.

While we were away there was an article about daffodils flowering in parts of the country - I wonder what happens in spring if they've flowered now? Rebecca now has 2 flowers LNG - but they look a little sad and the colour is no where near as spectacular as it is in the summer months. It obviously needs some sunshine (I know how it feels!) ;D

I know what you mean Jasmine, I also have night scented stock still blooming in a pot on the windowledge, it does'nt know if it's day or night it's been so dark but I occasionally get a whif from it. Nothing like those warm summer evenings but still... Also have 10 week stock still in bloom which are still clovey on occasion.

How lovely still having those fragrant flowers in bloom LNG. I miss my roses the most I think - there are a few buds left on some of them but they won't come out I don't think.
