Lovely photos everyone. The daffodils in North Cornwall are just covering the banks along the side of the road.

Went to Trevarno Gardens today. They have the National Daffodil Collection - 2,500 different daffodils planted out in a huge field. You can then order any you like from the shop.

It is Pulmonaria with the Daffs Jen, unintentional it put it's self there. It's a very old unfancy type I got from my Mum & it seeds all over the front, but it won't grow were I put it only were it puts its self, in the front path & the driveway. If I plant it in the border it sulks i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/rolleyes.gif . Jillyx

They're all lovely Daffs and I see you have some more little shoots coming up there Snowowl. I have some devine smaller Daffs in bloom over the past few days and the scent is amazing. Unfortunately they're part of a mixed pack so I don't know their name.

Fantastic show of daffodils Jasmine, it must have been very tempting to walk through it all. The reindeer are so peaceful and lovely are'nt they and their antelers are great. Chuckles no matter how small, they're still lovely to have are'nt they.

What a wonderful sight Jasmine and to be able to order from seeing them in the 'flesh' and 'smell' would be great! I love to get some daffs into my borders, and it is only in the last few years that I've been able to get a decent display going. I try to make sure that any new beds get daffs, crocus and tulips planted before anything else goes in, and plant perennials when the bulbs still have their leaves on so I don't dig them up or worse still chop them in half! Old ones out today, those with the little stumpy orange cup x Tig

Thanks for your kind comments ladies. I thought the same about having room for something like that Chuckles but smaller is good too ;D. The only problem about walking through all those daffs Tig and LG was getting back to the shop where you order and the lady saying, 'You've got a bit of a list'. ;D I'm glad we saw it - if it hadn't been for the fact that even Cornwall is a bit behind because of the winter most of those daffs would have gone over.

Tiggy took that one FB Trevarno Gardens is near Helston - it was just over an hours drive from where we were staying In Camelford. Not a very easy garden to get round though if you aren't good on your feet . But the bluebells there are going to be something else when they come out.
