Yes it is indeed Small World by Huey Lewis & the News.
The 'Huey' a multipurpose US military helicopter apparently takes its nickname from the original designation HU-1 (Helicopter Unit One) and it and subsequent variants have been used by the US military since the late 1950s.
As in the M*A*S*H intro....
