Glad you got sorted with the labels Jasmine, you did set me off though and I've been and picked some for in the kitchen window Also made me realise some of my pots have the doubles like your LG, all my pots have a label in them that says SD on it so I must do some SDD

I bought 3 little pots from the GC a while back and one of the flowers is a double. It's nice to be able to look at snowdrops properly I've decided Chuckles, it's way too far down when they're in the garden!

Meant to say when I posted earlier that we passed a small spinny on the road side this afternoon and I commented to OH how lovely the colour of the new branches looked on the trees, while I was looking up at the trees he noticed the ground below them was covered in snowdrops, I paid attention on the way back and they looked stunning. I agree about it being nice to be able to look at snowdrops properly, infact I love getting up close to any flower as we do miss so much lovely detail by not looking closely at them. I also missed your pics before as I'd got the thread open from earlier. Love this G. S. Arnott

Thank you very much ladies! I have had fun today really looking at my snowdrops and in amongst G. Angelique I found 3 tiny little flowers brushed with green on the outer petals - they look nothing like the rest of the clump. Nature is an amazing thing!

I had to laugh Rosefriend, the thought of LT's roll mat crossed my mind - then I could just lie down and take pics - probably take a while to get up again though!

Blewberry Tart is stunning isn't it, I'm sure I've seen it in the Avon Catalogue before, but the pic doesn't make it look that good. POTM 5 for your gorgeous G S Arnott Jasmine,

Thanks Jilly. I think Avon sell it some years too - I was looking through their catalogues for the past 5 years and it's interesting what snowdrops they sell each year - this is the first year I've ever known them sell Grumpy.

They're wondering on the snowdrop forum I lurk on if the breeder (is that the right word ) will waive the P+P! He has actually spent years trying to get a pagoda shaped yellow snowdrop apparently so they say it is good value for his time! I had to stop at £950 Rosefriend, OH would get a bit cross if I spent too much!!!

I did just win Galanthus 'Nothing Special' for a much, much lower sum!

Wow!!!!!! that's a shocking price to pay for a little bulb. It's pretty but my goodness, you'd be keen would'nt you. I had a look at Nothing Special and it's pretty too but I find it difficult to see the subtle differences in the Snowdrops, sorry Jasmine. I do think they're all beautiful and am so pleased to have them in my garden. They seem to last for ages as well, don't they. If they don't get eaten that is.

It's a shame that S+S love them so much Ladygardener - you'd not want anything harming a £1000 bulb would you! The ones I picked and brought indoors lasted nearly a week in water which was good.

Oh my word - it's gone over £1,000.00! I've just realised my 'Nothing Special' is coming from the same snowdrop seller! His standard £4 postage is fine for my snowdrop but if I was buying that Golden Fleece bulb I'd want it hand delivered!!!
There's some talk on the snowdrop forum that T&M have lost that yellow snowdrop they bought one bulb of a while ago for several hundreds of pounds - has anyone else heard anything about that?
