It's the noise Genie when you have your ears pierced - there isnt any pain just a CRUUUUUUUNCH sound as the wire cuts into your ear lobe ;D

And the other noise you just heard was me hitting the floor when I read your post Jen!!! That was horrible! You're not alone Genie, I've always been too much of a coward to have my ears pierced too!

I had mine done (ears pierced) when I was 16....they pierced them with the earrings, they had a point on them....it was done in Shepherds Bush Market

Mine was done at the market too. Can't remember which one but I can see it clearly in my head where you had to sit etc.
They pierce them with sleeper studs don't they and then when everything has healed you can put proper earrings in. They made us put on this horrible blue liquid which I suppose was like an antiseptic thing but it stung like a cowbag. Then you had to twist the earrings around which also hurt.

mine weren't studs that my ears were pierced with...it was the sleepers. And yes the liquid that you had to put on afterwards to clean them stung like mad, mine was red though.

I pierced my own ear when I was drunk one Sunday afternoon. I'd already had it done once so I took the stud out and pushed it through again. Yes, there was a bit of crunching and yes, it bled quite a bit. I didn't realise how much it hurt though until I sobered up I didn't pierce my own nipple though. I got that done professionally. FA x
