Can't wait for SCD to begin on 18th Sept. It is the only reality/celebrity programme I watch. I was going to boycott it over the new judge fiasco, but it would be cutting off my nose to spite my face, so I shan't Any other fans out there? ( no FA, I know it's not your cup of tea!! ). Haven't heard of some of the "celebs" but that's par for the course as some of them are from soaps ( which I don't watch either ) but Phil Tufnell should be a laugh and Lynda Bellingham is my generation

It is one of the few 'celebrity' shows I watch, just because it requires a degree of commitment and learning for most of the participants (even the pro dancers ) It will make a pleasant change to have a TV programme to look forward to! x Tig

I cant wait either - Ricky Whittle from Hollyoaks (BIG HUNK ) is in it and should be interesting to see Jo Wood (Ronnie Wood's wife) I read her book last year "Looking Good" by Jo Wood There will be of course maybe a couple that cant dance for toffee which is part of the show Anyone know if Brucie will be compare - do hope so

Another fan here and like the others it is the only celebrity show I watch - although I do admit to being an x factor fan too ;D I don't recognise half the people taking part but love watching the dancing and the costumes - usually getting jealous about how good they all look! I would love to try dancing, but can't see Mr J going for it! Maybe I will try on my own one day when I am feeling brave, but would rather convince him... Jardack

no FA, I know it's not your cup of tea!! You are so right there. Nor the X-Factor, really. I just can't stand either of them. However, millions do seem to like 'em so I can understand why the beeb and ITV persist in showing them. Mrs FA loves them both so I can use the time she's sat in front of the telly on a saturday reading, listening to music, improving my skills on my camera (when I get it, of course ;D) or at the pub ;D FA x

But we all love Brucie - he has millions of fans - you is just jellus I don't Jen... I cringe at his so called jokes...I think that he should retire too. I saw him years and years ago at the London Palladium and he was brilliant but I'm afraid now I think that he is a bit past his best. I am really looking forward to it...haven't heard of some of the entrants but their faces are familiar.

I can't stand him on SCD, Jen - he's an embarrassment. He hogs the limelight and the corny jokes and jibes are awful. He was good in his prime.........but that was a looong time ago!! Time for Anton or Graham Norton methinks ;D

Why has it been put on a Friday night? It will clash with a lot of the soaps if they are leaving it there through the series. I think SCD is the best program on TV. But not on a friday night. If they dont want it to clash with X Factor on a Saterday then surely Sunday would be a better day to show it

I think it's just for the first 2 weeks that it is on on Friday and saturday - then it reverts to Saturdays only

Graham Norton would be great I think, I don't like Bruce doing the show. The corny jokes make me cringe. Makes me cringe to LG,i dont like Graham Norton, hes too smutty, Im with FB on that one Graham Norton - would ruin an otherwise wonderful programme. I cannot bear him on anything, he is a complete idiot and thinks he is fantastic, when he is actually a rude and ignorant man i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/angry.gif I do agre that Brucie has had his day, but PLEASE dont replace him with that berk! What about John Barrowman - bet he'd be great at it - might be a bit to flirty with some of the male dancers tho i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/shocked.gif he is such an outrageous tart (Karl hates him, but I think he's funny!) No doubt tho brucie will go on and on and on and on ..........................

I did'nt realise it was on fridays and saturdays either. Much preferr it to be on sat and or sundays but if it's only for 2 weeks I can put up with it. I agree that Graham Norton can be a bit hard to take at times but I've seen him do the Andrew Lloyd Webber programe and he was good fun imho. I think he can do family entertainment as well as anyone. I agree with FB that Bruce Forsyth as a person is indeed a lovely man and he's certainly been entertaining in the past but I don't like him doing Strictly.
