Ive just heard from Kath and she is strugling at the moment as you would expect she is so lost without her lovely hubby and she thanks everyone for their thoughts and good wishes, next Friday the 13th is going to be tough that is the day of the funeral at tees-side crem; I dont know but maybe after she has got that hurdle over which she must be dreading she might be able to come on and talk to people.

Thanks everyone on Kathy,s behalf she does know that you are all thinking of her. Her Dear Husband had his Humanitarian Service on Fri 13th and they had a very moving send off for him with songs they both loved sung by their favourate Irish singer Ollie Austin singing Lay Down Beside Me Love Me and Never Leave Me and the Hands of Time they also had Sarah Brightman and Andre Petchlillan singing Time to say Goodbye i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/cry.gif Her shoulder will take about 4 or 5 weeks to mend so I hope she is taking it easy and giving it a chance i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif she is going to come on board soon and try to join in slowly .thanks again maggy

physiotherapy next week--ouch-then another x-ray on the 3rd dec. if the break is knitting together alright i will just have 5-6 weeks for it to heal. if it has gone out of alignment then it will mean 'pin and plate' and 3 days in hospital.i have to keep my shoulder in a sling and not move it. easier said than done.
im leading a life like 'lady muck'-everyone including my lovely neighbours have been calling offering their help-dinners cooked -housework done (by family)- what more could i ask for?-just --to 'turn back the hands of time'--and have my eric back again.
i must look forward now-for my family's sake because they too have lost their dad.
thanks everyone for your good wishes-if they were medicine i would be fighting fit--
i will be back on board-and look forward to a 'new' kind of life. biggs

Oh Bigs, I've only just seen this thread. I am so sorry to hear about your dear Eric. I really feel for you and your Family. You and your family need each other more than ever now, together you can be strong! Fingers crossed for the outcome of the xray, hope it's good news. In the meantime make the most of being lady muck. You sowed the seeds of friendship with your neighbours, they are just reciprocating.
