We lost our lovely Cassie a few weeks ago. She was the gentlest, calmest dog you could imagine. She was 15 and died gently at home.
I had been of the opinion that we should not get another dog. But Mrs Bill was so miserable that I gave way and we have a new Westie pup. We have had her for 3 weeks now. I had forgotten what a pain in the neck toilet training is!

Met a couple in the GC yesterday who had two westies sitting perk and upright in the shopping trolley. Never saw two so well behaved dogs before. They just had had their hairdo and looked so fluffy. A Westie is a lovely breed.

A Westie is a lovely breed. They are much more dog friendly in Holland than here Duchy i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif they wouldnt allow dogs in our G.C.!! in act almost everywhere one of us has to wait outside with the dog even when we carry him.

Isla is a bit uncertain because she is a bit boisterous (is that how you spell boisterous) but Danny is fine with her. She has diarrhoea at the mo which is making toilet training a right pain in the whatsit. She is fine otherwise though

Oh poor little thing, what mucky stuff has she been eating? Bonnie isn't at all fussy what she eats anyone would think we don't feed her, she loves rootling about on the compost heap for the most manky things she can find.

Oh Jasmine I have a vivid picture of Bonny rooting thru the compost My Yorkie would just love a filthy manky dirt encrusted piece of bread he would find in the gutter - he wouldnt let go and am sure it would be full of bacteria and bugs <shudder> I took him to a country fair once thinking he would love to see all the horses, cows and other doggies He spent the whole day with his nose on the ground searching for squashed hamburgers and tomato ketchup squished hot dogs What people thought I had no idea - he was quite manic and when he found one he growled at everyone and ate it at 100 miles per hour - as you say it would seem he was never fed to people watching He was never ill tho with a tummy upset from the stuff he ate en route Is your puppy better now Dr Bill ?
