By head songs I mean those little ditties that you happen across by chance and then find yourself humming or whistling to yourself at every opportunity throughout the day, over and over again (Aaarrrggghhh!). In the shower, in the garden, vacuuming the house (yes men do housework sometimes! i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif ), anywhere in fact and just when you think you have forgotten it up pops the tune again.

Currently it is The Moon and You which will be instantly recognised as being from the Laurel & Hardy stable of films, and which is performed here by that well known

It's usually songs featured on adverts for me....................sometimes from as far back as my childhood. "Raelbrook poplin, the shirt you don't iron" has been going round my head since I did the ironing this morning - wishful thinking perhaps?! ;D ;D

Mine is Stranger on the Shore by Aker Bilk (and it has been for years!) - goodness knows why!!!

I start singing something else to try and get it out of my head, but then more often than not the next song hangs around too ;D I often end up with other stuff trying to get out but Stranger on the Shore remains stuck fast.
