I do have an account (or two) but rarely use them as it is just as easy to right click on the url at the top and paste the link where I want it.

There's certainly no need to be signed into YouTube to post links from the site but sometimes I have noticed that the address bar url doesn't always work. For a failsafe option look for the Share button below the video.
