Just a few last minute presents ( I hate it to be all over too quickly) and the food shopping. I don't go mad with the food - it's really just a large Sunday roast isn't it? If you buy biscuits, sweets, nibbles etc ino one is really hungry enough to want them and anyway it just goes to the hips and tummy and is a b****r to shift afterwards

I leave all the food etc to Mrs FA but I've sorted all the presents I need to. I got the last 3 today so I can generally relax now. All I have to do is wrap them which I'll probably do over the weekend and then it's crack open the Baileys and chill out time ;D
I finish work on 23rd and don't go back til 4th Jan too, which is going to be a nice break.

I've done all the present buying, just the fresh foods to get next week. I have plenty of sprouts, parnsips, parsley root and purple sprouting broccoli growing in the garden ;D

None of us like/eat them. My elder son doesn't eat any fruit or veg, and never has done ( I refused to battle when he was a child after he was sick several times) His wife and 4 children are all vegetarians. My OH never ate fruit or veg for years ( he eats a few, selectively now) and I am vegetarian. My younger son eats quite a wide variety of vegetables but not fruit..................ain't life funny??? ;D ;D

It's very odd Auricula. Biggest twin will eat anything that's not screwed down and littlest twin thinks all fruit is poisonous and most veggies but he loves mushrooms and brussels

Tesco are delivering the bulk of our food shopping today and Mrs FA will just have to get a few fresh things nearer to the day but other than that, everything is done. Happy days.... !

Rather alarmingly I still have a couple of things to get. I was going to have a wander up town this afternoon but it is bitingly cold so I will probably leave it until the morning. Wednesday is market day in Boston so it will be mayhem, but at least by then the council may have at least made some effort to clear the snow away.
