We are on Virgin Spru only because we have TV phone and internet package. You get free phone line that way.I dont use my landline often so its cheaper for us.

We are with BT for phone and Internet as we are not in a cable area. Don't have a fancy package, just got a compatible cordless phone from Currys and plugged it in.

I'm with Virgin media for phone tv and broadband. My house is small and Ihave a portable phone which has a long battery life so I can take it upstairs at night with me and it's still charged in the morning. It's good also for when I'm out in the garden. Sorry I can't help.

We have aBT 3500, had it a couple of years so it might be old hat now, it has an intercom which is handy sometimes , I take it out in the garden with me so I never miss a call the number store thingy is easy to understand, and it looks trim and neat.

Thanks for the suggestions. The funny thing is that as an experiment I removed and re-inserted the rechargeable batteries and now both handsets seem to be ok again. They also have a good range and work well even at the bottom of the garden. So they have a second chance for now, certainly at least until post-Christmas sales. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif
