Today is the shortest day and longest night of the year. The Winter Solstice is traditionally a time to celebrate and this site gives some more info. Hope everyone has a Healthy, Happy Yule. brighterblessings.co.uk/articles/yule.htm

Solstice greetings one and all.
Am I really the only one who likes prefers the cold and the long dark nights of late Autumn and Winter ?
This is about my favourite day of the year because it has the longest night ! I don't look forward to the longer days, nor the Summer heat.

Where you been then FA - summer heat indeed! I enjoy the garden too much, and at the moment I have chronic withdrawal symptoms
