Hi all, Hope everyone's groovy, not been around much due to health, in fact I've just finished chemo, but hopefully will be able to pop in from time to time to see what you are all up to. 2009 certainly ended up a strange year! Take care for now all. xxx

Hi everyone - and thanks Juliet for the nudge! I'm still around, but don't get online much nowadays. I'm going to have my fourth attempt at RHS Diploma Module G in a few weeks, and rather hoping I get it this time... because then I'll have got my Diploma! I still work four days a week, and volunteer as a gardener for the National Trust at Dunham Massey on Wednesdays which is great fun. Seedling is now nine and a half, well and happy, and getting pretty clever - she has worked out that when we went on holiday last year we visited one big garden or other every single day! (Surprise, surprise!) We did Hampton Court Palace, Wisley, Great Dixter and Hidcote in four nights away from home - quite impressive I thought! We also went to a beach, some lovely little shops and galleries, Derek Jarman's garden (only little, honest!) and had several good meals out, and did another NT property which we did for the inside, as it was chucking it down, but she's forgotten those bits! I'm still in regular touch with Plocket, and thankful to whoever invented message boards that I met her as she's one of my best friends ever! And I really value my occasional contact with Juliet and Trillium and Yakram, and various others from the Beeb boards, but I don't tend to look in on here or over there regularly, though I usually vote in the photo competitions which I love! I think often of you, Fat Andy, and Captain Cabbage and Lord Steve and Susie Snowdrop and too many others to mention, and am very grateful to you all for providing the mental stimulation and relaxation which helped me get through the days (and more importantly the evenings) back then... I'll try to get on here more regularly - thanks for caring! Margi xxx

Honestly Jenny, Jazz is absolutely fine ........... it's me who is nervous and have had to change her usual route in the woods. She is the most amazing dog ever, just the owners who are suffering now!!

Suzie S I sorry to hear that but very glad J.J. is alright after her terrible ordeal!! I hope she doesnt have any after effects! I know when Teddy and I were attacked on holiday ! I was the one bitten as I pulled him up out of the way but he is very defensive when he see,s large black dogs now and goes a bit crazy. If he had been bitten as I was it probably would have killed him as the other dog had a very big bite.
