Do you say Twenty Ten or Two Thousand and Ten ?
Up until now, I'd have said Two Thousand and Nine etc but I suspect that as the decade progresses, more people will say "Twenty" rather than "Two Thousand and". After all people said "Nineteen....." about the previous century so "Twenty" seems logical.
I saw a discussion about it on the news yesterday and I was just wondering what you say.

I reckon twenty ten for now. Eventually we'll drop the 20 just like we did last century (except for computer speak of course where you have to put in all the numbers.)

In our Excel sheets at the office it looks strange to enter 10 - - 09 looked fine but for eg 3.1.10 doesnt confuse as much as 3.1.2010 - so we have adjusted our sheets to keep to the latter format Cheques also look strange as 3.1.10 so think to enter the full 2010 will cause less confusion ie 3rd January 2010 rather than 3rd January 10 What do you think
