Which planet are you on Cheery? Of course I watched it ;D ;D Very edge-of-the-seat moments! I kept thinking ... 'this is it! His numbers up now for sure ...' only for him to survive each time Then he goes and ruins the tardis!!! It'll take ages to get that mess cleaned up - I'm offering myself up as Matt Smiths assistant x Tig

Mostly, but I thought it was a shame they tacked on that long sentimental ending (with him visiting all the previous assistants) after all the drama - I'd have liked it better if they'd gone straight into the regeneration. I'm sorry David Tennant has left though - he was indeed a great Doctor. Not sure about the new chap - he's too young! (I grew up with Doctor Who being Tom Baker - having younger & younger Doctors doesn't seem right somehow).

Oh I dunno Juliet ... I'm up for a toyboy ;D Only a virtual one mind you - I couldn't cope with a real one I was there at the start - William Hartnell (& hiding behind the settee for lots of the programmes ) Somehow they all tend to grow on you - even Sylvester McCoy (who was perhaps the worst IMHO ) x Tig

I dont watch Dr Who and I did think David Tennant was the last - sorry fans - and the end of Dr Who He is a gr8 actor tho so he wont be "type cast" and he will move on to other parts I came in when Tom Baker was the Doctor - but I just cant stand the noise those Dialects (sp) make ;D

John Pertwee was my best doctor (showing my age now!) I must admit tho - Skinny Dave did grow on me eventually, but I still think he needs feeding up The new fella's hair managed to get on my wick in the 30 seconds that he was on the screen - it dont bode well . . . . . . . ;D

I watched it and LOVED it! The story was a bit long winded but John Simm really was fantastic - psycho or what??!!! I cried, and found some of the reunions a bit pointless (when did Martha meet Mickey?), although I did like it when the Doctor hitched up Captain Jack with Alonzi - I had to remind OH who Alonzi was though I'll really miss DT, and I cried especially when he said that he didn't want to go. And though I didn't like the idea of the new chap, from the brief glimpse we've had of him he looks fairly charismatic

I was trying not to say, but I can't stop myself (sorry, I'm a pedant ) - neither the catch-phrase nor the person are Alonzi One is Allons-y The other is Alonso (As in www.zazzle.co.uk/allons_y_alonso_tshirt-235634398269063353 ) Martha and Mickey met in the last episode of season four, Journey's End (the one where Donna saved the day), Plocket

Ahhhhhh! Thanks for that Juliet - I was worried about the meeting (the one where Donna had to get run over, or the one where she was Doctor/Donna, or another one?). And thanks for the Alonzi (!) explanation

I really like the Doctor/Donna episode, and thought it was the best one that Catherine Tate did. She was alright as an assistant, but excellent in that story.
I think it's matured a bit Auricula. LP has seen a few episodes but we don't let her watch the scary or complicated ones. Funnily enough though her favorite one is the one with the Weeping Angels, which has been voted as one of the scariest stories.
