When you were little, what did you want to do when you grew up ? And did you actually go on to do it, or did you end up doing something completely different ?
I wanted to be a long-distance lorry driver for a while, a footballer, an astronaut and then for ages I wanted to be a policeman.
Funnily enough, I never achieved any of those goals but "Tax Inspector" was never on my list of jobs I'd like to do !!

I wanted to be an air hostess. Mad really as I get travel sick on any form of transport and I'm really, really scared of flying but it has to be done if you want to go to most places abroad...certainly couldn't do it for a living .

When I was very small I wanted to be a ballet dancer - but my Mum said I was more like a fairy elephant I fancied being an air hostess as well .. think it was because they all looked so beautiful & sophisticated in the adverts. Then I became a 'hippy' and just wanted 'peace & love man' ;D

I wanted to be an architect at first, then changed my mind and wanted to be a doctor. What a fool I was - should have stuck to my first idea

I wanted to be an HGV driver, an air hostess, a teacher, a window dresser (until I learned what low wages they earned ) and a chef - but not all at once!!! ;D

As a lad I always wanted to be a handyman and have a shop and a truck. AHH rats that means I've grown up. I also wanted to be very old when I grew up like 30 or so. Ha, I'm almost twice that now and still got some growing up to do.
Oh, just in case some of you didn't hear, Canada beat USA for the gold in hockey!

Well done Canada . , the games have been on through the night here, so not a lot of chance to watch, but you seem to have done a wonderful job of presenting the winter olympics.
