Have to agree with Auricula think bitty is the right word Without them cluttering up my garden it seems to have slotted in and looks more calming and relaxing and clutter-free If they were all the same size, type and colour they may fit in but they are not - some are even empty as I leave to sow seeds in NOT THIS YEAR ;D I have three large barrel tubs; one houses my Pamela Jackman and the other two will house some new plants I will however always have two containers full of night scented stock and of course I still have four large window boxes

I think change is a good thing Jenny, if you like the different calmer look then go for it. I have far too many plants growing in pots too but nothing I could get rid of.

When I had too many before I extended the flower beds I used to put them in the beds among the other plants.

I've done that with a lot of my pots of spring flowers MRH they look well especially if you get them in at the right time and the little primroses grow around them.
