I have just had a bizarre experience!
I was thrown off GWD on a 'refresh' and the screen that came back up showed me as logged off!
I tried to login three times and nothing happened, I couldn't get back on!
I closed the window and restarted IE and low and behold when I reloaded GWD I was automatically logged on again!
Thought I should post in case it happens to anyone else!
Please post any other board problems you encounter on here as there was obviously something strange going on!

Yes, I couldn't log on a couple of days ago. I kept putting my password in and still it wouldn't work.
But then I have had trouble even logging in to my new machine, it keeps telling me not protected with virus software (Macfee). Takes me 15 minutes to get the internet sometimes.

I had that problem when I used McAfee so I changed to Bullguard and touch wood it's not so bad now.

Just checked on Support and there are no known issues...however I do know that there is server maintenance on the go on various servers.

This was a big problem yesterday Jasmine - Support in the USA say that they have had the problem fixed but that it may take a little time for different providers to get the signal.
I will keep an eye on the situation though - my PC is OK at the moment and far quicker than yesterday.

There are server problems in the USA and some boards are not loading properly. Proboards know abut the issue and are working on the problem.

Great - it might not be the end of the gremlins though - there seems to be massive connection problems...extra servers have been brought in but we might still be on a go slow/stop now and again.

I thought it was a bit slow yesterday but the whole computer seemed to be slow not just GWD so I didn't think anything of it.

Internet was incredibly slow yesterday and I put it down to lousy weather and masses using the web but later on I had terrible problems on GWD and Proboards Support...I logged out later on as there was danger that my PC would end up in the garden.
It is thankfully a lot better today.

The too many connections issue is an intermittent Proboards problem. I have also had that message this evening but the best advice is to follow the onscreen instructions and wait 30 seconds before refreshing the page. It seems as though things are very bad at the moment. One of the admins suggests that it may help to delete your cache.
Proboards have apologized and said that they are still working on the problem.
