In the picture of Kimmie on her back she is sound asleep, she is 90% deaf and she did not know that I was there, I can make a cup of tea in themorning put wood on the fire and she would still be sound asleep |

I am sorry to have to say I lost my Kimmie last Wednesday, she had been suffering with arthritis for some years, on Wednesday morning we took her to the Vets for a check up she seemed to ok but as the day wore on she had trouble walking come the afternoon her legs gave out and she was put to sleep. I am shattered and I miss her terribly, we had her cremated and now she is home with her best friend Maggie who we lost 7 years ago. we will not get another dog as I cannot go through that again, Maggie ashes will go with mine and kimmie ashes will go with my wife's when our time is up.

Oh scarecrow, I am so sorry.....I know how hard it is to lose them. We had to have our dog put down and I held her as she died - like you I don't want to go through that again... Remember that you gave her a lovely happy life and you will both have some wonderful memories, even if it does hurt to think of them at the moment. RF |

Ive just come across this scarecrow Im so sorry its so hard when we lose these lovely doggy children I know you will still feel the loss, its 8 years since I lost my first ever dog Tim I still talk to him when Im sorting his area in the garden, I understand you not wanting to go through that again I know I wont once these two little ones go. xx |

Well we lasted 11 months after we lost our Kimmie, we have just got a Cavalier King Charles crossed with a Cocker Spaniel puppy called “Daisy May”  |
