WELL. Got rid of the ex (fed up of the mind games and accusations although he's still making them and I've had to play nicely... until now!) and now seeing a really lovely bloke so all's good there. The ex has been trying to make my life difficult in recent months but that's all getting sorted soon. Schmickles went missing 26th March, not seen or heard of her since  even with posters being put up. Adopted another cat in January called B.B. (Big Balls or Beautiful Boy depending on the age range of whoever I'm telling) who is a black tom cat and my lil baby. Toffee and Pudding still here and as gorgeous as ever. Had Eric rehomed after the ex shoved off as it wasn't fair to keep him while I worked long hours to support myself. I couldn't afford to feed myself, never mind him. The RSPCA ended up giving me food for him until they found somewhere for him to go. Broke my heart it did leaving him up there. The ex then had the cheek to say that I got rid of the dog without telling him... he left Eric behind and didn't help me look after him so it became nothing to do with him! House and garden are finally getting there ish sort of maybe... I have steps to the grass now so people don't break their necks walking down to it. Redecorated my bedroom (still needs bits doing but I've not got the inclination) and I have 2 new sofas rather than garden chairs to sit on after the ex took the others. Repotted some stuff and binned some other stuff-not really done much gardening recently. I want a fence before I start sorting the garden out and that's going to cost at least £1600 in materials alone! Helped set up a Beaver Scout group in my village in recent months. Still doing my other voluntary work too. Working in a delivery office miles away from my area but it's really nice, just an hour's drive each way! Still, I get paid from when I set off until I get home so I'm not complaining! Erm... I think that's it really. A lot more has gone on but it's all rather boring and complex. |
