Oh and Andy for starting this thread ;D ;D Well i'm a complete novice at veg growing so just wondered if it was possible. I wonder how different it would've been if the autumn temps had been a lot milder ?

Well I'm going to say that the Beeb got it wrong on this one! There is no way that the seedlings will grow into anything worth harvesting by Christmas, mine are barely past the first two leaves But we tried x Tig I planted my 3 out several weeks ago and one is romping away, the others are just sitting there.......brussels xmas 2011 ;D

Funny you should say that Chuckles!! I was looking at my remaining two today, I must plant them out an see how they do, no way sprouts for Easter though LG, they are only about 4" tall after all this time (BBC advice was defo liar, liar, pants on fire!!!!) x Tig

Well dont you two we hope to have sprouts on the menu as well, its a tradition of mine to go out on CD and pick them for tea no matter what the weather is.

Mine are about the same Chuckles Although there isn't much top foliage left, the cabbage whites have been feasting on them x Tig
