The version I heard was a really bad English one where they said they'd got the turkey from Tesco and went to the all night garage...

That sounds a bit like the Christmas dinner basket in one of the papers yesterday. I think they'd gone to 4 or 5 different shops to get the cheapest of everything. Sounded like a lot of trouble to me.

Some folk just shop around but I have to admit I don't. I just buy when I see something I like and don't think if it would be cheaper elsewhere.

Some folk don't have easy access to Lidl, Netto or Aldi either.

I have access to all 3 within a few miles... guess it's handy to live near a dump such as C/Bay after all! Although why they've got a Sainsburys in Rhyl of all places... <snob> lol

Is that the one on the corner AL? I went to Rhyl about 8 years ago...I loved it, drove down to Colwyn Bay but it rained the whole day...

Sainsburys in Rhyl is on a little retail park down the rhyl straights...
Lidl is the one on the corner in West End C/Bay, Aldi is on Mostyn Champneys retail park in Llandudno and Netto is next to Iceland in Junction. Never shopped at any of em lol

Not if you don't go the tourist routes Jas ;D
Rhyl and C/Bay aren't very nice places to go nowadays.

Well... I suppose they're OK... C/Bay isn't as bad as Rhyl.
Llandudno is much nicer. Full of coffin dodgers but very nice.
