Thanks again for representing us Susie. Kath was involved with GWD right from the very beginning in August 2006, so it's nice that we were able to say goodbye through your kind attendance. If her daughter Anne does feel able to join GWD and post, then of course she would be very welcome.

Very late but none the less shocked and saddened to learn we have lost Kath. Reading all these posts has made me realise just how many lives she touched. She reached out to so many of us, me included. She was an inspiration and undoubtedly one of the nicest people I have virtually met.

I received a lovely e.mail from Ann Kaths daughter, she was very touched and pleased to read all the lovely posts that Susie printed out for her and her family and wanted to know if I had Susie,s e.mail address. I have left a p.m. for Susie as I couldn't find an e.m. address for her so if anyone can get in touch with her before she comes on, if you let her know, she can contact Ann who I know wants to talk to her personally.

I can pass on the message Maggy. If you reply to my PM with a note of Ann's email address I can forward it on to Susie with pleasure.
PS: I've emailed Susie to let her know that there's a PM from you waiting for her here, Maggy.

It won't matter Kath will ALWAYS be in our thoughts, we could perhaps keep her garden thread somewhere near the top of the pile.

I had a really warm and lovely email from her daughter Ann thanking me for attending the funeral (which I wouldn't have missed for the world). She was so touched by the comments on this board and said she would treasure them forever. I have invited her to visit the board as I thought lots of you would want to pass on stories and encounters you had with Biggles. Hopefully, one day, she might pop in .............
