I totally, absolutely agree - my 2010 was also a terrible year, and 2011 looks like being the same, if not worse - and the really bad bit is that there is NOTHING I can do about it!

2011 has begun badly. The third time one of our cats has disappeared without trace. One expects illness or traffic accidents, but this complete vanishing with no sign of trauma or body or anything is totally distressing. Now I know that it is not the same as losing a friend or a family member, but on top of a very bad session of Depression it is just too much for me. If I had the courage I think I would give in to the internal voice and end it all. Perhaps tomorrow................I always mange to put it off till tomorrow.....................so far.

I'm waiting for 3rd Feb when we move into the Chinese year of the Rabbit. It's going to be goodbye and good riddance to the year of the Tiger and a big welcome to the year of the Rabbit. Life will be much better for all of us Giving everyone a big who have had a rotten year. The good times are coming in, filled with optimism and sunny feelings

I've resisted posting, as I've been in the doldrums of late and agree with everyone that last year was sh!!te and this one hasn't started brilliantly either. I try to be an optimist about life in general, take the bad and hope it is balanced out by some good from time to time, and on reflection it usually is. Just at the moment summer seems a long way off and my usual 'garden' fix is slow coming. It is nice to be able to share, and I hope everyone can find something positive to look forward to, even if it is only a small thing. Let's all have couple of x Tig

I was sooo sorry to hear that you have lost a beloved pussycat OB...heartbreaking, I hope it turns up alive and well. My heart goes out to you, Spring is just around the corner and soon you can spend some time in your GLORIOUS garden (should call it 'grounds' really!)...that will lift your spirits. All the beautiful birds visiting your garden too... I sincerely hope that the quality of life improves for us all. ;D Pam I'm jolly glad you're here too My lad has now been 'drug-free' for over 12 months, a cause for celebration...just hope he can get his life sorted out...get a job and gain some sort of independence. tbh I'm just grateful that we still have him.
