Jenny knows what is best she seems to be the chief gnome buyer. At our local GC they have some holding plaques says *Go Away* they are very grumpy looking perhaps I can get one of the larger ones and put it in the front garden to stop folks looking over the fence ;D

Yesterday Jenny and I went to the Yankee Candle shop and we could'nt see any Royal Wedding candles. I asked the lady and she said oh yes I'll bring one out for you. She says it's the same as their ordinary wedding candle only it says Royal Wedding on it. It was difficult to know exactly what it smells like because of the smell in the shop but I think it smells lovely, quite floral tones to it. I was really surprised they don't have a big display of them. It's only a couple of months until the wedding. They'd surely expect to sell the bulk of their stock before not answer it.

That's interesting LG - I suppose it would be floral. Was it a nice floral? I think some of the Yankee Candles smell dreadful. You'd think they'd want to sell them before hand - they'll have to reduce them by the end of April.

You see that's why Jenny and I could'nt understand it at all. She did'nt even put it on the shelf after we'd looked at it, she put it under the desk where the till is. ::)The floral smell did seem to be quite nice yes but it was'nt something you'd just have to have if you know what I mean. I have one of their Midnight Jasmine one and burn it all the time, it's lovely.

I haven't tried that one LG - will have to check it out at Wyevales. Maybe they've been given a specific slot to sell the wedding candle in I got something new from my friend whose OH is a pilot for Virgin. He likes shopping and does a lot in the US. It's a Yankee Candle quick scent. There are only a few smells available for it at the moment but it's clever!

Like a spray do you mean Jasmine?

No, it's a short frosted glass shaped thing with a silver embossed dish on the top. Then you pop a quick scent candle on the silver dish and light it and it melts very quickly. I've had a google but you can't get them here yet - won't be long I bet. There's only 12 scents for them at the moment.

They do have solid wax perfumed flat flowers that you put onto your burner Jasmine. When you light the candle of your burner, the wax on top melts and releases a good scent. I bought a few of them at Christmas time and they were not expensive. They last a few good burns, they sound like a cheaper version of the same sort of thing and you can use them with any of your own burners. Is that the sort of thing you mean.

I've got one of those too LG - they are good and the wax tarts last a good while. The quick scents really live up to their name. You couldn't put the wax tarts in the quick scent burner as it wouldn't be safe to put a night light in the base as it's enclosed.
