Whats everyone upto this year OH and I will be doing the same as we normally do, going up the road to his parents house. OH does the cooking, I help though. We have a house full, my sister is married to my OH's brother and they have two grown up children. Allas this year it will seem strange as my MIL passed away this May so it will be quite a sad day for us all.

We are having a very quite christmas this year just me and my OH and Charlie we are so lucky hes still with us this year. It will be quite nice not having to cook a big dinner. It is good to be together, you can share your memories Chuckles of Christmases past ... the best of times and the things that made you all laugh I'm not being Mother again ... last year was my first year off organising the family dinner for nearly 40 years, I liked it! So once again it will just be OH and me for lunch and we will take the prezzies round when it suits everyone, or they can pop in and collect if they wish ... either way I don't mind just as long as everyone is happy. x Tig

It's always a small and quiet affair for us, this year we'll go to my mothers for a buffet xmas lunch, and stay a few hours, but it'll just be the 4 of us.

Our younger son is hoping to come to us on Xmas Eve,evening ( he's working til lunchtime and then it's a 7hr drive) until Monday 27th.It will just be the 3 of us ( often it is just OH and me).On 28th we go "up country" to see our elder son and his family,my brother and OH's sister. We'll come back on 30th ( 1000 miles in 3 days). If son 2 can't get his car fixed in time, it'll just be OH and myself and we'll go for a walk on the beach

It'll be just the two of us on Christmas Day this year. I'm looking forward to staying at home. Much as I love my family, I hate having to travel and be away from home on Christmas Day. A hotel is just not the same. We'll go down to see them in the week after. Then catch up with OH's "kids" the following weekend. This year it's at ours - I'll have to cook

Just the two of us this year, we usually drive up to my parents in Kent and my cousin and OH go too. Too many visitors for the whole day is getting a bit much for my Dad now though and even though we all help cooking Christmas lunch Mum still has panic attacks that something will go wrong. This year my cousin who is local is still going to Mums but we are going to go and see them for an afternoon sometime before Christmas (weather permitting). So we will have a nice cosy day on our own and I expect OH will cook Jillyx

Hoping to go to daughter's over Christmas - but won't be able to see our son/fiancee/her children/our two granddaughters. I think my sister will be there though, and we'll be with some of the family. I still miss my Mum - as some of you will know, it is hard when someone is missing. This is the second Christmas without her. Last year we drank a toast to her.

I hope I will be lying on a sun bed or walking along the white sand of the Gulf Coast. There will definitely be some margaritas involved - probably quite a lot as my MIL is a very bad influence ;D
This of course depends completely on the weather here.
