I have just received an email on my private ISP account which, on the face of it, might have come from Adobe, save for the fact that Adobe don't upgrade their software via email! Needless to say that it is likely to be some sort of phishing scam but since I am not even going to open it, that is as much as I know, except for what I have read here... www.computersecurityarticles.info/antivirus/adobe-acrobat-spam-going-strong-more-to-come-mon-nov-22nd/If not a phishing operation it might be trying to con people into paying for what is actually a free service direct from Adobe. So if anyone else gets one of these, just delete it, preferably without opening it, and for good measure add the sender to your blocked list.
BTW anyone in need of an Adobe Acrobat PDF reader can get it free from their download site, (as below) and if you set your preferences to automatic update, you will receive a pop up link every time the software is upgraded. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
