You know the one - maybe when you lose something, search high and low for it, buy a new one - then it turns up! What's happened to you under this law? I lost my car-keys this morning - I searched everywhere, gave up and used the spare, then this afternoon launched a search - and where were they? Where they should have been, of course!

I do that with plants quite a bit as I really don't like something not flourishing. I'll replace it then the original sprouts again and off it goes.

I don't think many of us are, Jas. Another one - under this law. Today was sunny. It was also Sunday, so I was at church this morning, then back home to cook the dinner, so I've missed a 'gardening' day. Tomorrow, it will rain.

A few years ago I misslaid my credit card whilst in town shopping. Went to use it and it wasn't in the normal slot in my purse tracked back to the shops I'd previously been in, nothing. After no joy finding it I began to panic and then I was in tears, went to my bank for help and was given a number to ring, more stress, I just wanted someone to sort it for me as my head and brain were in a spin Some kind young man at the bank then helped me and we cancelled my card. When I got home I felt quite sick and exhausted, checked my purse and it was in the next slot

I remember a many years ago I went shopping, when I went back to the car park I couldn't find my car...I panicked and rang home to say that the car had been pinched...my OH told me that I hadn't taken the car that day I got a lift with a friend...my kids still remind me about it now & again

Oh no - that's AWFUL, Missy! I'll try not to laugh. ;D Sorry. We did pretty much the same thing over credit cards, only worse in scale, Chuckles. We stayed in a hotel, and OH couldn't find his wallet when we checked out. Having searched everywhere, he cancelled all his cards - the lot! Then, shortly after we got home, the hotel rang - the wallet had been found dropped on the floor of the room, just hidden by the valance. That was SUCH a pain, as you can imagine!

My ex-OH was in Theatre just about to start work on a patient
"I cant start without my glasses" he complained "Everyone help to search for them"
"They are on your head Sir" squeaked a nervous Nurse ;D
This is true he was forever losing them

;D ;D I lost my gardening scissors when I was fleecing the plants back before the bad frosts - I just knew where I'd put them, so I thought - safely in the porch! I searched and searched, before replacing them with a different pair, Of course, when the snow melted and we had a mild day, I went out to take the fleece off to give the plants an airing - and there they were, in the middle of the flowerbed! Duh!

No - leather! Isn't that weird, though. Luckily, I found a new one on the Fuji website for £5.99, compared with up to £29.99 on other sites! ;D I wondered if Henry had taken it and chewed it up - but there was no evidence anywhere.

Another one - did you have a real Christmas tree? Every year, I hoover at least twice as soon as it's removed, and then of course hoover around as and when. BUT - I can guarantee that I'll still be finding pine needles in the summer! Where do they hide?

I am always finding needles especially in the corners and along the skirting board...and I always hoover along there!!

Tinsel off the tree? Yes - all up the garden path! I can trace the route OH went when he removed the tree - by needles and tiny bits of gold.
