Thank you to those willing to own up to temporary daftness. You've made me feel much better for standing in John Lewis in Cardiff at Christmas trying desperately to find my credit card and eventually having to use another one only to find it in a different slot in my purse later (lesson 735 never buy a new purse). Oh and there was the time a friend and I managed to lose her car in a car park not once, but twice. Having gone to drop some shopping off and hunted high and low we thought we'd fixed its place in our minds only to do the same thing again when we went back again

Oh how I hate that, Blodau! I do that, too. I also confess to being the sort of person who can walk out of a shop in the High Street and turn the wrong direction.

My sis lost her car in Manchester, she couldn't remember where she'd left it, ;D she went back the next morning at 6-00AM before lots of cars were parked again, ;D she had a ticket.

Oh NO! I haven't ever done that, but I sure can imagine it. Fined for losing your car? That's really tough.

After taking some beef out of the freezer last night to cook for todays dinner I didn't really fancy it. I thought that I would make a casserole and freeze it and have a jacket tatty instead tonight, I even made a salad to go with it...I popped the casserole and the jacket tatty in the oven before I left for work this afternoon and when I got home I realised that I had forgotten to turn the oven on

I friend of mine put her roast meat on top of the oven, turned the oven on and went out and then came home to find the roast, raw, on top of a very hot oven.

So will you have it tomorrow and get a take-away, Missy? I will have the tatty tomorrow I think, the casserole will go in at the same time and I'll either freeze it or have it on Saturday...I had a piece of fish from the freezer with peas and bread & butter...couldn't face a takeaway...
