Did all my ironing, put the iron and ironing board away then realised that I had missed a t shirt that had fallen out of the basket....

A quarter past five on a dark, cold morning, I'm cycling down the hill from home and the wind is making my eyes water. I suddenly realise I've forgotten my glasses which are essential for work. Back up the hill, unlock the door, a search reveals nothing. Where are they? A chance glance in the mirror and there they are. I'm wearing them! Not raised on my head like jennywren's ex-OH but perfectly in place. I'm so used to them, I didn't know they were there. Must have been the wind making my eyes water, I think, but I did feel like an idiot. Had to pedal hard to get to work on time! ;D

Oh Rony! Do you all get the 'odd sock' syndrome? I can't be the only one that sorts out the washing to get it put away and what do I find? Yes, an odd sock - again!

Yes - not rolled together or anything I just don't put one into the machine until I've found his friend in the washing basket ;D They don't like being separated you know ;D ;D P.S. I do have a touch of OCD and I'm an inveterate counter of things - I compulsively count the bricks along the path every time I sit down on the patio etc

Hmmm...it stems from learning your tables at school, I think! ;D ;D It still doesn't explain how two socks go into the machine, but only one comes out...maybe I have a sock-eating machine!

I count everything, when I'm sat on the loo I count the number of boards around the bathroom, I count the flowers on the wall paper . The steps up the path the ridges in pots. oh god why.

I count the number of letters in a word on my fingers and can't stop until I get to an even number

I do that too and the white lines in the middle of the road ( when I'm a passenger) in batches of 10 and I fidget until they start again, if they've stopped not on a multiple of 10

Bet the men in white coats are wearing odd socks. ;D Auricula, if you lose a sock don't try counting them... Have you ever had that feeling that you can see something strange from the corner of your eye, but when you turn to look there is nothing there? Or that slight feeling of dread that there is something behind you, and you just don't want to look, but you know that you must. Then there's that noise at night from downstairs that keeps you awake listening in case the stairs begin to creak. You never see anything, but the next day you discover a sock missing...
