I record most things as well. It really cuts the viewing time by at least 15mins. 20.00hrs until 22.00 hrs Missy so it'll be the whole thing, unlike the afternoon ones which are stretched out over 2 days.

I don't like them when they're split in half

No me neither, I'm too impatient. I usually wait until I've recorded the 2 of them then watch them together.

I can't find where I read the new series starts tonight but when I looked at the TV listings it says Barnaby is in it. Perhaps this is not the new series tonight but another episode? I thought we'd already had the last episode so this might be a repeat.

We were half way through our Gov's meeting last night when someone said, 'I wonder how many people have been murdered in Midsomer'. Was it a good first one?

It takes some getting used to without the lovely Mr Nettles But I still enjoyed it, takes a while to introduce the new character, and there was almost as much mystery surrounding him as there was the case. Still better than loads of other drivel which is on at the moment x Tig

I've recorded it and am watching it now just. I'll let you know what I think, he's chatting to his little terrier at the moment. :)It's a bit strange him being called Barnaby.

I agree Tig and LG, it took a bit of readjusting but I'll stick with it.....after all, it doesn't have much competition I think it'll be fine when we get used to it
