What did you think of last night's show or did anyone see it? I recorded it and am working my way through it. I thought the guy on the bike was different and very good but so are tons of teenagers who do the same thing at the BMX track near where I live. The ventriloquist was definately good and with the right material could do very well.

I saw it LG! What was with the extra auditions - SC wouldn't have been faffing about like that and then making out they weren't going through with an 'I'm afraid........you're going to need time off school'! We couldn't work out if that little dot who sang 'I did it my way' got through For 15 years old the ventriloquist was great - he can only get much better from where he is now if he gets some good lines. Why did they have to decide between those 2 unusual dancers - why not let them both through and let the public decide?

I know what you mean they said as well "from the bottom of my heart I'm sorry "and then said something like, for the ones who did'nt get through, they did that a lot. I don't think the little 7year old did get through, they did'nt show him anyhow and I think they would have. The ventriloquist did'nt get through to the final 40 after getting through earlier in the night.. I guess they thought he needed better scripts or something. Some of the singers who did'nt get through were very very good. They must have some sort of spec they have to keep to with regards the unusual dancing I think Jasmine. It was the same with the 2 young male singers, they let one of them go home.

Jasmine I recorded it so I'm not sure what time it ended at but here I think it was 9.30. It showed you the 40 acts who got through. There were at least 3 doggie acts. The one where the young woman sung Pia Jeasu (sp) with the dog singing along. The one where there were a couple of dogs, and another one which I can't remember. It's on twice each night this week, it shows the results of the folk who performed in the first show each night. Does that make sense? The first show at 7.30pm until 9pm. Then the resuts show at 9.30pm until 10pm.

That makes perfect sense LG - thank you! The Mexican lady with the chihuahuas seemed to get through first of all but not sure if she managed to make it to the end of the evening.

He means it doesn't he - there's no room for sentiment and no rescuing dodgy acts. However, he is a bit of a soft touch with doggie acts!!!

What really impressed me was seeing last years winners in the 2nd show. Spellbound were absolutely incredible, every one of them shone and they deserved their standing ovation. They've done so well since their win last year.

The X Factor is such a big slick machine now isn't it. A friend took her daughters to the auditions a couple of years ago...it sounded a nightmare of thousands of people and waiting.
