Hi Amber,
The Queen was here about a mile from my house 2 weeks ago!!!
There was huge excitement and everywhere got a good lick and polish before she arrived, hedges cut, weeding done,
grass verges trimmed, the place was immaculate!
I only saw her car...........................!!!!
Have a lovely time and maybe some photos?

How exciting Amber. Ruth and her hubby went to last years garden party at the palace but they were'nt allowed to take pictures. Maybe you could get an official one or something? Great excuse for a new outfit. ;D

Thanks for your comments one and all  ...I'm not certain what we will all be wearing... Have a committee meeting on Monday so will discuss it then. I'm assuming I will be wearing my volunteers t-shirt and lanyard..and my best jeans.....  . After her whistle stop visit yesterday, she asked the police escort to give all the posies she had been presented with to the local hospice.....so when I got there the place looked like a wedding venue ;D posies all over the place ;D ;D
