When I click to turn any pages on here on the bar at the bottom, lots of writing wizzes past and the page doesn't turn 'till it's finished, it says stuff like ''quantaserve'' gygga'' something,  '' optomised'' ''pixel'' ''scorecards.com'' ''gscounters'' '' cookex'' and a few more, what's that about then. what are they doing in my pooter. do I need help. |

Not sure whats happening B. I have just tried it on another thread and it worked OK for me, I hope you have not got a virus in the puter  we have had 2 in the last month and have taken it to the shop to get right, No1 son has just had a very nasty one on his laptop so that went to the shop to be sorted. |

Oh I know what you mean now B, I was thinking it was on the Pro-board page but its the 1 under where it says done when its finished, mine does the same thing funny but I have never noticed it before but then you mension it and now I keep looking as well, thanks B ;D

I'm not quite sure how to explain this but.......Don't panic girls they are just computor programme thingies that need to load to view a page, sometimes they load quickly, sometimes they are slower. A lot can depend on your broadband speed and the programmes themselves.

Well !!!!!!!!!!! I knew summat was up with my pooter, it was hopping all over the place, so, I put it on a full scan, and 3 hours later it's still not finished, and it's telling me I have malicious or harmful software, and it will sort it after it's scanned everywhere  As for secrets, that would be telling. ;D |

Oh dear Barbara you have got it bad, I hate doing scans of the hard drive as they can take for ages to finish hope it finished sooner rather than later.

I hate it when my anti-virus software pops up and says it has just detected a malicious trojen trying to access my hard drive! I want to come on here and get all the warrior women to annihilate it and whoever is behind it  x Tig |

Well it's clear now, you'd think all the stuff we have to protect our pooters would work some times wouldn't you , I couldn't believe how long it was taking to get logged on or turn a page on here or anywhere else that I went for a nosy round. |

It shifts all the free space together.....sort of like decluttering a room G ;D Should improve your speed a bit  Soo....if you feel that you need an extra bit of "get up and go" get OH to give you a Defrag  |

at the top of the page you have file edit history tools , click on tools,--- click on options,-- click on privacy, at the side it will say show all cookies, --when it shows the list of them at the side it will have a box saying delete all cookies click on that and they are all gone.
now defrag. click on the start menu--click on accessories, click on tools--click on defragment, same place but one space down for disc clean up.

Yes just the cookie for here, they will all be back today, so I have my setting to delete them as I shut the computer down, that way it doesn't matter that it logs me off.
