I have a fan oven but I also have a knob I can turn and it takes the fan away and makes it like an ordinary oven.

Yorkies Dutch style. Far less explosive than the German variety With a nice hole for filling or just pushing a sausage in. I do have a question though. how long do they have to be in when I use a slower cooking style. They were nice and brown but not entirely well done. Or should I just let them in for 25 intead of 20 minutes. They were not going towards being burned so maybe that too would have worked. And in my cups still half the oil was there so I had to poor that away. Would using half a tablespoon not be just as good? And hubster wanted to know why RF you did not do them when we were there as he likes them a lot.

I made these a couple of days ago Dutchy... I also left them for nearly 30 minutes - 20 isn't enough I don't think. I also have oil left over but if the form is as hot as it should be it doesn't go into the yorkies and apparently is it necessary. Try it with less oil - see what happens - I just chuck the rest.. Tell OH that I will do them next time when you come...have you tried them as a dessert with butter and sugar?? RF
