Fortythree years ago last month Joe Grimmond ( Liberal party leader)
was giving a talk in Cheshire. I walked past where & saw this really scrummy male & I took one look & thought to myself that he would make a wonderful husband. I was 15 at the time so I don't know where that thought came from.
We had our 40th anniversary this year & yes he has made a wonderful husband, friend, father & grandfather although we fondly call him Grumps.

I met OH at the church Youth Club - we were both in our very early teens, and we were first boyfriend/girlfriend for each other! We split up for a while, but got back together again - we've been married for 45 years this April. Two children, both adults, three grandchildren. ;D
