He's FULL ON and has boundless energy - just going to get ready for a long walk over the fields and thru the woods - I may find some holly "lying on the ground" so will take my new SWAG bag to fill it

He looks like he needs a bit of grooming to keep all that fluff in order

He looks adorable but all that grooming would get me down Has he been "done" or might you be facing paternity suits? ;D

Are they allowed to be done if they're going to be shown? Enjoy your walk Jen - lovely to have company isn't it?

Oh yes - it probably ups their value anyway, doesn't it? Champion breeding stock I couldn't be doing with long haired animals - too much mess and hard work. Do you have to call him Mr Dantie, or does he have a pet name?

You mean you don't go for the tumbleweed furball effect in your house Auricula? I find it makes hoovering much more satisfying! ;D

I'd forgotten Jen - you used to have to do some serious grooming. A little bear cub doggie would be easy!

I will be giving him back i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/cry.gif - gave it serious thought and you have to think about his life span it means dedicating myself to the next 14 years of looking after him If didnt have a full time job it may be easier but he is full of energy and needs lots walking He is being really naughty at the mo which means he is happy - took all the tinsel of the tree and got stuck up in it - chewed tassels off my cushions in the kitchen

I didnt get another one after my last dog died, it was too much responsibility for me on my own when I have to work too...the dark nights and mornings were a factor in my choice too...I get up early enough as it is and walking a dog on my own in the dark is a bit scary too.

Its good to hear people take having a pet....particularly a dog.....seriously. Too many consider them a "decoration"...or "just company". We all know they need a lot of exercise and attention; I see quite elderly people getting a dog or a cat and ruin the animal with inappropriate feeding.....thinking they are being kind .....
