Some of her plants had been frosted as they were stuck in a corner of a poly tunnel. Oops Crocus! ;D

There is an article on 3 gardens and their designers in this months Gardens Illustrated. It's Sarah Price who is doing the Telegraph garden. She often does wafty pot suggestions in Gardens Illustrated! She takes up quite a bit of the magazine this month!

Ah Chelsea. ;D A full week of intensive Beeb covering coming up. Ah to be able to go there. Hm no such luck I fear even though I am a member of the RHS and could get a cheaper ticket. Ah well maybe next year.

Getting excited now Has been a bit of a change of plan though, I'm afraid I'm going to have to meet you ladies at the show. Went to book my train ticket on line yesterday & the difference in price between before & after 9am is such a complete rip off that it doesn't look like I'm going to be in London until after 10am i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/sad.gif Jillyx

That's a shame Jilly but I know what you mean. OH keps muttering darkly about how much a peak ticket is going to cost him. This is the chap who uses the train for free 5 days a week and up til now has been able to get away with sitting in first class!

I'm just hoping the weather improves. I remember as a fashion conscious teenager days out being ruined by my Mum's obsession with a collection of Pac-a-Macs that she carried in the bottom of her bag on all occasions. She used to try to force them on Dad & I whenever the weather looked a bit grey i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/rolleyes.gif Was thinking the other day, I wonder if they still sell them Jillyx

Wednesday sold out long ago. I phoned the official ticket office and you can turn up on the day and chance your luck with a return. I may just do that. Already got my Hampton Court ticket for afternoon 3 July.

Yes, Auricula, I really would like to meet up too. I'll get to the gates very early in the morning and join the queue. It might be easier to get just 1 ticket.

Thanks Jilly. It would be great to meet you. In the 70s I queued all night for Bob Dylan tickets, so in my older years, I'll try my luck lining up at the gates of the Chelsea Flower Show.

Yippee, I've just bought a ticket on official RHS website. I was told last week none were left for 23rd May and I'd have to queue up on the day. I suspect tickets have been returned cos of bad weather in the last few weeks. So really looking forward to meeting Jas, Auricula and Jilly.

Hmm... My coach should arrive at 6.40am so I'll be ready to get into Chelsea when it opens at 8, but am not sure where's the best place to meet up I'll be coming from Victoria coach / train / tube station. We can meet inside Chelsea ( there are several gates if I remember rightly) or somewhere en route......................................I'll definitely need coffee after 10hrs on a bus ;D
