Here are some pics of the new garden. Please bear in mind it is rented. I did not build or paint the terrace things nor build another breeze block wall...  My Sweetcorn, Chives, sweet williams and tulips  My Camellia next to a pot that needs sorting...  My lavenders and mints that need sorting also...  My bargain Azaleas and Shads sniffing the grass...  My other lil pots with my Hebe, tulips, Weigelia and dianthus...  And my roses either side of the front door  Also these are the flowers enterprise sent me (eventually)  |

What a lovely space Aprilaydee you could easily make the teraccota area lovely with your pots. Pity it's not yours it definately has potential  |

Yeah it has potential but I'd flatten the garden and get rid of the hideous patio!

I think if you sort the grass out, it will look much much nicer and you can pretty the walls up with some cheap climbers and such like. I think it looks like a fab garden with loads of possibilities.

Shads is having a great time. We've finally been able to finish cutting the grass today but it's in a pretty bad state and I've got no pennies at the moment to get stuff from work to improve it.
Shads will be pretty upset cos he liked stalking through the grass and chasing the dog when she visits (which will be for a fortnight soon).

Just caught up with this thread April...it looks lovely. I'm sure that you'll make it 'yours' in no time at all!...are you growing sweetcorn in pots? I was thinking of doing that....should I have sown the seed already  CPBX |

Yeah I'm not planting anything in the garden in case we have to move out again in August or I might move back to manchester but I dunno yet. A lot of thinking to be done. Depends whether I can get a better paid job here. If not then I think a move is on the cards.
