It's growing everywhere at the allotment, I've pulled I've dug and still it comes back, how on earth do I get rid of it, it's growing in the paths and all the beds too.

Actually I would love to grow my own "horseradish" - haven't a clue where to start or even if they grow it here in Germany..

Very easily apparently I' just pull it out and it's a large oval leaf and a white root, I'm not getting to the bottom of it that's for sure.

Sounds like its in the same leage as ground elder and the likes Barbara. You'll have to dig down deep and thats possibly over 2', remove all the roots, every last bit, and double or triple dose strength of roundup on any new shoots. Could be a long battle
