We were 19 and met at Uni. I had just split up with a boyfriend and there was OH sitting on the balcony of the student bar. He was lucky he didn't tip over the edge and end up downstairs - that would not have been cool! ;D

I met mine for the first time on a 7am bus going to Torquay. He'd just finished a night shift at a local factory and I was going on a breakfast date with a rather stunning Glaswegian lad ;D I didn't go out with him until my 'date' had gone home to Scotland, and then I just happened to bump into OH again late one evening and he bought me a curry ... within a year we were married.
Son met his partner at school, and they've been together since their teens. Daughter met her OH on a night out with me when she was 'inbetween' boyfriends in her late twenties.
Wouldn't like to be 'looking for love' these days!!

This will sound very common but then again I am common i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif I met Barry at our local working mens' club - my Mum was in the Darts team there and she told me about this young man with blonde hair - I had a 'thing' about blonde hair- so I went along one evening to be nosy - I was 141/2 years old,Barry was 18. We liked each other and started going on dates - to the cinema etc. but after about a year broke up.We still used to see each other at the club. Then one day Barry turned up at our house and invited me to his 21st birthday party - the rest is history - we were married when I was 18 and 48 years later .......... i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/smiley.gif

As for our Daughter we where having a new kitchen and shower fitted and her partner came to do the wiring of themshe wasnt here when he came to have a look at the job but on the Saterday when he started it she was at home and it took him a couple of weeks to ask her out she was just getting over a bad divorce now we say he just came to do the electrics and never went home its a family joke now, she looked so happy when she showed us the ring this morning

We met at the Youth Club when we were both 14. We went out together several times, broke up, then it got serious just after I went to College. We got engaged on my 21st birthday and married about 18 months later.

I met my ex at a disco - I said to my friend Maria when I spied him - I am going to marry him - and I did It sadly didnt last and then my next "OH" I met at a single's party - he didnt impress me much to begin with as he was dressed in old garden clothes until the hostess told me he was a Surgeon and a Millionaire too - not that that made any difference We were together nine years

We met at a motorcycle race meeting at Brands Hatch in 1987, he bought me a pint from the beer tent and I was hooked. Our first date was sharing a bag of chips in the launderette because it rained too hard to sit on the seafront as planned. Not everyone's ideal date but I wouldn't change it for all the tea in China.
