I have been given a few Tomato Tamsin to try. Have any of you tried this variety?
Let me know of your views and then I will give you mine.

Yet again the person who can supply me with these Tom seeds gave me the wrong name!!!
The variety is TAMINA. Any thoughts on them? I tried the 2 he gave me and they taste like a cross between mid sized Tomato and a Cherry variety- sharp but not as much as the small ones but excellent flavour.
I will be sowing some next year and sowing them after we return from hols in the Caribbean next January/February.
Incidentally, the `Gourmet Tomatoes` I have grown this year and for the past 5 years were superb flavour but tend to be a bit soft if left too long after picking.

I did wonder but although I haven't tried it I do know a little about Tamina - probably as I live in Germany and they are both German varieties..
Tamina was developed in eastern Germany in a place called Eisland and Tamina and a tom called Matina are not only often mixed up, they could be actually the same variety, although they are sold separately...
I heard about them some time ago when I was looking for a tomato that was resistant and was also good outside... Both (one?) have excellent reputations for being a good outdoor tom after tests were done in Goettingen..
I am interested to hear what you think Bigolob!!

Apologies for not replying sooner but only just seen your note.
I will let you know next year what Tamina is like, particularly its flavour.
