We've been watching her go downhill, so it is a blessing in some ways. Still, I'm sad.

Thanks all! I knew you would understand the loss.

The love and the good times are worth the sadness we get when we lose them. Normally, we would go out and get another puppy in a month or two, but having our daughter's puppy in the house is quite enough.

Last night he climbed up on my husband's lap and curled up there. It was like he knew my husband needed extra love.
