I hope I have this in the right place. We had a couple of warmer days, and suddenly my crocus bulbs are poking up. Should I ignore them and assume they will do whatever they please? Or is there something I should do?

Yes I agree - as soon as the colder weather comes it will be ok. Crocuses can often flower through snow even..

Don't panic Bobbie. LG and RF are spot on - they will poke their heads up and then the temps will drop and they will just stay as they are - perfect - til they get going again in spring!

You could always have a chat with them! Ask them to 'hold back'. Now that is an idea. I was afraid you would suggest I sit outside with ice cubes holding them on.
