Back again after a long summer - what was that? - travelling around and staying with family and friends, plus going to the Paralympics - an incredible experience. I bought a polygala myrtifolia which is very pretty and has flowered all summer. I have it in a pot, but do not know how frost hardy it is. I have looked it up on line but only seem to get sites in the USA or South Africa. Not very helpful. Does anyone have one and, if so, what do they do with it in the winter? Talking of winter, I do hope this early cold snap is just that and not a sign of things to come. Even here in the Loire Valley, the north wind is b....y icy!

Icy here tooo - nice to see you again...pleased that you had a good time during the summer...
I saw a Polygala Myrtifolia last year and if I remember rightly it needs to be overwintered frost free, light and around 5degC... As far as I know it can't even do 0degC....
Do hope someone else helps!!
