I was hoping to make my first post on GWD via my new Sony Smart TV but I have encountered a hitch in that the 'post' and preview buttons are off the screen and the bare bones (Opera-based) browser isn't letting me scroll down. i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/tongue.gif

Nonetheless I am very impressed and if nothing else I can browse GWD without switching my PC on (posting from PC now i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/wink.gif ) and it is a good fallback option if the PC happened to expire unexpectedly.

Oh and there appears to be a character limit so I suppose the plain text functionality would better suit the likes of Twitter.

Of course I also have the conventional option of connecting the PC and TV and nominating the TV as a second (or indeed the main) PC display but that's something to think about for another day.
