I use chicken manure pellets when I'm planting Barbara and Miracle Grow when I'm watering through summer.

My seed spuds have yet to arrive but I ordered some sacks with them this year and it comes with a free lot of spud fertiliser. So this year I will be. Next year I'll go back to lobbing FBB in with them.

I always put sufficient home produced garden compost in the trench to cover the seed potatoes and then add a generous sprinkling of chicken manure pellets.

If I can, I put in some of my own home made compost but always add Chicken Manure Pellets too. Good luck Barbara.
