I've got several of these little plants growing in pots, they look as if they're self seeders. I think they're Geranium of some kind, perhaps Tig Pyrenaicum or Splish Splash or even Jilly Bill Wallis or Jasmine Bill Wallis but I'm not sure. Could anyone say from the pics? On the other hand they could be weeds but they're not weeds that I've grown before.

I agree, although the leaf shape looks too rounded for splish splash LadygardenerYou'll be able to have a plant stall at the front gate if you pot them all up

Thanks Tig I'll certainly pot them up and grow them on. Time will tell which ones they are. The fact that they've grown through the winter and not disappeared makes me think they're either your Pyrenaicum or Jasmine's Bill Wallis. I'll offer some of them to folk who would like them.

Ohh, lucky you Ladygardener. What a nice surprise! I'm going to go and see if Bill has seeded in my garden!

Definitely G. pyrenaicum, and if you had Bill in your garden, that's his babies.

Thanks so much Jasmine and Geranium, I'm delighted. I wonder what they'll turn out to be, either would be very welcome. I hope they grow on and do well for me although they should as they've come through the winter outside in pots with other things.

I ment to say that Tig Geranium is Summer Snow and is stunning by the fence at the bottom, I'm growing the Bill Wallis in the top border and letting it drift through other plants. Jilly did you ever get your Bill Wallis seeds to germinate for you and did the little plant come through the winter?

The little plant is looking very healthy Ladygardener & quite a bit bigger, he didn't even loose his foliage overwinter. I only sowed a few seeds of each of the Geraniums in the Autumn, I've definitely got some germinated, but I can't remember off hand if they are Bill or Summer Snow & it's a bit dark to go check , think I've even got a couple of Splish Splash coming up, that I collected off the one that Tig kindly sent.
