Got a few seedlings going down...looks like damping off. Looked in garden centre today and couldn't find anything but man said to use bordeaux mixture.
Anyone had any success...it does contain copper sulphate, which would've been my choice.

Me and my remembering previous posts I remember Cheerypeabrain posting this as if it were yesterday The cheshunt compound is just a fungicide I think, it smells of old wet nappies (amonia) and comes in a tin...little crystals (a lovely violet colour) I make up a dilution and spray the pots after I've sown seeds. I also spray when I've pricked out...it's sposed to help prevent damping off. As Tig said I don't think anything rescues seedlings andy

I did have some cheshunt compound but can't find it. It's been withdrawn for sale now. I'll have one final look and if i can't find it, i'll try Bordeaux mix

Think it sorted it'self out in the end. I did find my tin of cheshunt compound but it's about 10 years old.
